If you are interested in becoming a client:

The first step for parents is to contact our director, Julie, at (312) 388-8883 or julie@julieherr.com.  Julie will send you a copy of our intake packet to fill out.  Once you have completed the intake packet, Julie will review what you’ve written and meet with you to discuss your child’s history and to discuss your concerns and reasons for seeking therapeutic intervention in depth.

Following this initial consultation meeting, we will arrange to conduct two or three video-taped assessment sessions with your child.  These sessions take place in at least two different settings (for example, at school and at home, or at home and at our clinic).  We also like to observe your child with at least two different interactive partners, including at least one parent.

After we have completed these video-taped sessions, we develop a report of our observations and meet with you to look at the tapes together and discuss our feedback and recommendations.

Fees for Evaluation

The intake process costs $500.  This fee covers all elements of the assessment.
